This church is where Catholics believe the Virgin Mary received the news from Gabriel that she would give birth to the Son of God. My favorite part of this beautiful church was the depictions of Mary and the annunciation.
In the above picture is the traditional site that the Catholic Church attributes to Mary and Joseph's house, as well as, the site of the Annunciation.
